Hilda graduated from Elbow Lake High School in 1912. The team was included in the 1887-1987 Elbow Lake Centennial book.
Ruth Ann graduated in 1957 from Elbow Lake High School. She was in high school during the time when girls interscholastic basketball had been dropped across the state (and most of the country). Ruth Ann's sports were limited to the after-school Girls Athletic Association where they played half-court basketball, volleyball and tumbling.
