Commendation from the Cottonwood County Historical Society:

The following letter was received from Linda Fransen, Director, Cottonwood County Historical Society, Windom, MN:

"Thank you for presenting a program in Windom on November 6, 2006 for our historical society. The members of our Cottonwood County Historical Society were just full of smiles from the wonderful afternoon and program that you provided. We learned so much about this marvelous era of girls sports in Minnesota. It was so special that Ruth Dahlke who played on the championship Sherburn team of 1925 was able to attend and share her stories. And she was even wearing her championship silver ring that is featured in your book.

Yesterday, the Board of the Minnesota Alliance of Local History Museums held our quarterly meeting and I sang your praises. Every county museum should have you speak!!"
